Team Profiles

Each Hawk Hoops team will have a maximum of 10 players on one team. There are only special circumstance that we will allow 11 players on one team. All players will have an opportunity to play. A players attitude, skill level, commitment to the team and program does contribute to playing time. Players will initially be placed on a team according to their skill level and what that particular team needs. All players and parents should understand that coaches and members of our advisory board consult with each other regarding placing a player on a team. Coach Hawk makes all final decisions regarding placing a player on a team after a vote is done by all coaches and members of our advisory board. If a player is not getting sufficient playing time on a consistent basis then a coach can suggest moving that player to a better situation on one of our other teams. The most important thing is for each player to be put in the best situation to play, develop and improve on their overall game. We currently have 12 youth teams ages 8-14 in our program with additional teams during the high school/ college viewing period where college coaches and scouts are present at our tournament games.
